Expanded School Year Summer Programs
Each program balances academics with engaging enrichment opportunities. Students will gain strength in their ELA/Literacy & Math skills. Positive student engagement & social well-being are addressed through writing across program activities. Daily student attendance is expected & necessary to improve skills during the program & into the academic school year.
The learning is free.
Transportation is free
Free breakfast & lunch are served.
There is limited seating available & space is not guaranteed. Incomplete forms & those that do not have a parent's signature will be removed & the student will not be enrolled in the summer program. You will receive communication of acceptance from the district or directly from your child’s school that confirms enrollment.

NEW Leaders Among Us (entering Grades 1-6); July 25-August 11; Monday-Thursday 8:30am - 12:30pm@ Eldorado Elementary School. East Ramapo Students going into 1-6 can participate in some team-building and
confidence-boosting activities and experiences.
Adventure Academy (entering Grades 1-3); July 11-August 18; Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 1:00pm @ Summit Park Elementary School
At the Expeditionary Adventure Academy, every day is a new learning experience with daily rotations related to overarching weekly themes. Students will be provided with interactive learning opportunities, journaling, & peer-discussion groups, while addressing Social-Emotional Learning, & using a growth mindset approach to enrich all students. Great for elementary students who have an interest in science & nature in the outdoors!
All Sports Academy (entering Grades 4-8); July 11-August 18; Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 1:00pm @ Fleetwood Elementary School
This interdisciplinary program is designed to meet the academic & fitness needs of our young people. Students in grades 4-6 will focus on increasing movement literacy by experiencing a variety of physical activities & games that will contribute to an active & healthy lifestyle. In addition, students will be introduced to individual & team sports offered at East Ramapo CSD.
Computer Science Academy (entering Grade 1-8); July 11-August 18; Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 1:00pm @ Fleetwood Elementary School
This institute is hands-on, experiential learning with a focus on the cognitive skills to build student capacity to become innovators, creators, & critical thinkers.
Fine and Performing Arts Academy (entering Grades 1-12); July 11-August 18; Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 1:00pm @ Lime Kiln Elementary School.
In addition to music tutoring & lessons, the Fine & Performing Arts Academy program will grow the academic capacity of students through an artistic lens. Culminating demonstrations of learning range from musical concerts to performing or theatrical creations, or poetry.

We are excited to offer your child the opportunity to participate in our Summer Bridge Freshman Academy Program that will be from July 25, 2022 to August 11, 2022 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at Ramapo High School. This program provides the academic, emotional and social supports necessary for a smooth transition to 9th Grade. Your child will engage in activities that will enhance their reading, writing, math and problem-solving skills. They will also participate in community circles and other activities that promote strong relationships with their teachers and mentors. The summer school program for students in grades 9 through 12 will be held Monday through Thursday: July 11th to August 15th from 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM at Spring Valley High School. This is for students who failed classes and wish to retake to earn the credits. Students can take up to 3 classes through this ESY program.
Regents Exams will be administered on Tuesday August 16th and and Wednesday August 17th.
Registration is open Monday through Thursday from July 6-July 15th, 8:30 AM- 12:00 PM at Spring Valley High School located at 361 East Route 59, Spring Valley, NY 10977.
