East Ramapo Family Resource Coordinators help The Salvation Army of Spring Valley Distribute 400 Free Turkeys

Just in time for Thanksgiving Day, The Salvation Army Spring Valley Corps donated 400 frozen turkeys to members of the community on Thursday, November 18th. East Ramapo's fabulous team of Family Resource Coordinators helped distribute the birds along with Spring Valley Police Department and Spring Valley Collaborative.

East Ramapo Central School District's Superintendent Dr. Clarence Ellis got a chance to personally thank all the amazing volunteers, especially Major Tom Hinzman and Major Susan Hinzman from The Salvation Army Spring Valley Corps who made this event possible.

Volunteers from Rockland County American Rescue Plan also handed out bags of toiletries and masks to those who walked up and drove through the assembly line.
