Team building, strategic planning, distributed leadership, and organizational learning are among the many aspects of the "Leadership in Action Network" meeting. Last week, at Chestnut Ridge Middle School, our East Ramapo administrators and teacher leaders put their authoritative knowledge to practice as they worked to construct staff and student surveys in service of their School Comprehensive Education Plan end-of-year targets.
Elmwood's Principal Ms. Ellen Andriello enjoys being a part of these meetings every month because it is a time when Administrative Teams across all buildings in East Ramapo "speak the same language of helping all of our students grow and achieve proficiency across all subject areas." Ms. Andriello says "It is fun to share best practices and raise each other up. We help each other gain the momentum that is necessary to do this important work of guiding all of our students to success."
