On Thursday, May 26, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Clarence Ellis presented a Certificate of Excellence to School Resource Officer Robert Navarro Town of Ramapo Police Department at Ramapo High School.

On Friday, June 3, 2022, Dr. Ellis visited Spring Valley High School to present Certificates of Excellence to School Resource Officer Quacy Evelyn, Spring Valley Police Department, Senior Security Guard Sue McGill and Senior Security Guard Greg Downey.

Also, Director of Security Tom Carton recently announced that a grand appreciation lunch is in the works to recognize the hard work and dedication demonstrated by East Ramapo's entire security staff throughout the pandemic and since. The Celebration is set for Monday, June 27, after the students have left all the buildings for summer break.
