Transportation Information

Greetings, East Ramapo Parents/Guardians.

Our East Ramapo Central School District Principals, Teachers and Staff are thrilled to welcome students back for in-person classes for the 2021-2022 school year!

As you may be aware, there is a serious shortage of bus drivers nationwide. See this
Article in our local newspaper, The Journal News. Earlier this week, we were notified by our student transportation provider - Chestnut Ridge Transportation Services - that there are not enough drivers to transport a significant portion of our East Ramapo Central School District students to and from school. Faced with this shortage, adjustments are currently being made.

How does this impact you?
For some, you may experience delays in the receipt of your child’s bus pass. For others, there may be delays in pick-ups and/or drop-offs.
