Academic or Social Probation

All students repeating their freshman year or any student failing two or more classes on the June final report card will be assigned academic probation beginning in September of the following school year.

Students failing two or more classes on the 1st quarter report card will be on academic probation beginning the 2nd quarter of the same school year.

Students failing two or more classes on the 1st Semester report card will be assigned academic probation for the 3rd quarter of the same school year.

Students failing two or more classes on the 3rd quarter report card will be assigned academic probation for the remainder of the current school year.

Students will be placed on social probation for not adhering to District/School Code of Conduct rules.


Definition of Academic or Social Probation

Students on Academic or Social Probation will not be allowed to participate in or attend during or after school co-curricular activities, events, and functions. Students on Academic or Social Probation may attend after school extra help but are not authorized to stay on school grounds after the extra help session has ended. A pass / note from the appropriate Assistant Principal giving approval to stay after school will be given to, and must be produced by, the student when asked. Students must have this pass / note to be able to stay after regular school hours.
