Absenteeism & Pupil Ratings

If a pupil is absent nine or more days in a quarter, then that pupil may fail for that quarter, unless he / she makes up the work. The student and parents are to be notified that this work must be made up within ten days after the end of the quarter.

If the work is not made up within the first ten school days of the succeeding quarter, then the failing mark for the quarter in which the absence occurred is to remain, and will be inserted into the formula at the end of the semester, and / or end of the school year to determine the final rating of the student.
