Join East Ramapo in congratulating Ms. Marissa Cavellero in her new role as Interim Principal of Summit Park Elementary School. Ms. Cavellero has many years of experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, Academic Standards Facilitator, and most recently as Assistant Principal of Summit Park. Ms. Cavellero has worked closely with both district and building leadership in developing and implementing goals for the school. She has been integral in focusing on accelerating student academic achievements, increasing student engagement through strong family-school relationships, and providing targeted professional development opportunities for staff.
Principal Cavellero replaces Ms. Jessica Alexander who was elevated to Interim Assistant Superintendent for Student Support Services in East Ramapo Central School District’s Central Office.
