Expanded School Year Programs
Each Expanded School Year Summer program balances academics with engaging enrichment opportunities. Students will gain strength in their ELA/Literacy & Math skills. Positive student engagement & social well-being are addressed through writing across program activities. Daily student attendance is expected & necessary to improve skills during the program & into the academic school year.

The following are the unofficial results of the Annual Budget Revote for the East Ramapo Central School District: 2022-23 Budget Total Votes: 3223, "No" Votes: 2102, "Yes" Votes: 1097. The 2022-23 school budget was defeated.

East Ramapo Budget Revote Tuesday June 21, 2022

With slight modifications to the fiscal plan presented to voters on May 17, the East Ramapo Central School District’s revised budget balances the needs of the taxpayers while maintaining quality student educational programs and supports.

Spring Valley High School Ceremony for the Restoration of the SVSHS Vietnam 13 Living Memorial
On Monday, June 13, a ceremony commemorating the 13 Spring Valley Vietnam soldiers who lost their lives in the war. Mr. Douglas Carey's class had restored the living memorial, and invited the East Ramapo community to attend.

First Cohorts of Smart Scholars at Ramapo and Spring Valley Celebrate Completion of the Program
Commemorating the completion of the Smart Scholars program this past week, Spring Valley and Ramapo High School hosted recognition ceremonies during lunch. The two classes of 2022 are the first cohorts of Smart Scholars to graduate, so this was an especially memorable event.

Driving Simulator and Vision-Distorting Goggles Drive Home Safety Message at Ramapo High School
Ramapo High School students Health Classes participated in numerous distracted driving simulations. Wearing vision-distorting lenses, they navigated a go-cart along a course with cones and drove in a road simulator.
