  • Chestnut Ridge Middle School Floors Project

    This summer, Chestnut Ridge Middle School got a much-needed facelift! The old and damaged floors throughout the building were replaced with beautiful new tiles, and the school looks stunning! Maintaining and improving our school facilities and grounds helps enhance teaching environments, improves the culture of schools and supports student educational outcomes.

  • Special School Board Meeting Friday Sept 17 2021

    PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the Governor’s suspension of the Open Meetings Law requiring in person meetings, the Board of Education Special Meeting scheduled for Friday, September 17, 2021, beginning at 9:30 a.m. will be held electronically via online web conferencing technology instead of a public meeting open for the public to attend in person. The purpose of the meeting is for the Board to vote on hiring a transportation consultant.

  • Family Resource Center's Backpack Giveaway Event

    On Thursday, September 9th, thanks to East Ramapo Central School District's amazing Family Resource Center Coordinators, along with our many sponsors including The Salvation Army, The Town of Ramapo Police Department, and Costco, 1,000 FREE backpacks filled with school supplies, as well as 300 food bags were distributed to members of our community.

  • Transportation Information UPDATE

    Our inquiry into your students' transportation needs is helping the district understand how many of those students actually need bussing, as we know many of our students find alternative transportation. Ninety per cent of students will not be impacted by the bus driver shortage.
