East Ramapo Marching Band Spreads Holiday Cheer
The East Ramapo Marching Band hopped around the district bringing holiday cheer on December 22, 2022. They played all of the student (and staff) favorites, including Feliz Navidad, Jingle Bells, The Dreidel Song and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Due to the impending inclement weather and potential for icy conditions in the afternoon today, Friday December 23rd, the East Ramapo Central School District will be dismissing students two hours earlier than their regular dismissal time.

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, East Ramapo Central School District held an in-person Town Hall Meeting at Spring Valley High School, and more than 70 community members and stakeholders were in attendance. "Community Conversation with Clarence" is a chance for the public to connect with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Clarence Ellis.

Due to an influx of new students coming into East Ramapo Central School District, the Newcomer Academy was established. Newcomers are students who have recently arrived in the United States, who are age appropriate for high school, and for whom English is not their home language.
