Spring Recess 2023: April 6 through April 14
In observation of Spring Recess 2023, the District is scheduled to be closed from April 6 through April 13. However, due to the wonderful winter that has been bestowed on us this year, we will also add an additional day to the break, Friday, April 14, 2023. The District will reopen on Monday, April 17, 2023. Have an amazing and restful break.

Teachers Update NYSED and HV-RBERN on Advanced Literacies Action Research Project
On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, East Ramapo warmly welcomed Dr. Elisa Alvarez, the Associate Commissioner for the Office of Bilingual Education & World Languages at the New York State Education Department Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages, to the district to observe the progress that many of our teachers have made as part of the Advanced Literacies Action Research Project.

Spring Valley Senior Giselandra Clerge Jumps Her Way to States
Spring Valley High School student-athlete Giselandra “Gigi” Clerge jumped her way to first in the section, league, and county during the winter track season. This senior Tiger’s remarkable performance on the runway in both the long jump and triple jump qualified Gigi for states, which she participated in on March 4th.
