Superintendent's Corner: An Update for the East Ramapo Community on Further Facilities Upgrades
In the latest Superintendent’s Corner, Interim Superintendent of Schools Mr. Anthony DiCarlo and Director of Facilities Matt Tindall tell the East Ramapo Community all about the latest facility upgrades across the district.
Ramapo High School's gym is looking better than ever! The brand-new, gleaming floors now proudly showcase the Gryphon logo, and the freshly installed bleachers are ready to welcome cheering spectators for unforgettable games and events. Mr. Tindall also speaks in detail about the new floors and bleachers installed in our other schools, along with new bookcases, new cafeteria tables, newly resurfaced and mulched playgrounds.
“What’s really so important is that there is still a lot more to do,” says DiCarlo. “What we want to work on is to set aside a capital reserve fund so that we, as the years go on, can take take some monies out every year and repurpose and put monies towards facilities so that we are not waiting for ten or fifteen years down the road to do the kind of work that needs to be done.”
These "Superintendent's Corner" visits offer our East Ramapo community valuable insight into these key departments, highlighting the services they provide and showcasing recent upgrades aimed at enhancing the experience for our students and families.Throughout the 2024-2025 school year, Mr. DiCarlo continues to share Superintendent's Corner clips hoping to keep the East Ramapo community informed of the progress and happenings across the District.
