Ramapo High School Smart Scholars

During a special recognition ceremony in the library, Ramapo High school students were celebrated for their commitment to academic excellence and their willingness to challenge themselves through college-level coursework while still in high school.

Through the SMART Scholars program, these students collectively earned hundreds of college credits, averaging 20 credits each, with one scholar earning an impressive 46 college credits before graduation. Made possible through grant funding, the program provides East Ramapo students with the opportunity to get a head start on their college education while helping reduce future tuition costs.

Each SMART Scholar received a certificate of completion and a graduation stole in recognition of their achievement, which they will proudly wear during commencement at Clover Stadium on June 26.

We applaud these dedicated Ramapo Gryphons for investing in their future and making the most of every opportunity to succeed.
