Professional Development Day at East Ramapo September 24, 2024
On Tuesday, September 24, while students enjoyed a day at home, our dedicated educators and staff came together for Professional Development - a day set aside for professional learning and growth. Teachers, teaching assistants, nurses, principals, assistant principals, and administrators convened at various East Ramapo schools to sharpen their skills. Both high schools gathered at Ramapo High School, which gave them the unique opportunity to exchange ideas and celebrate successes from their respective schools. Meanwhile, at Pomona Middle School, specialists such as school psychologists, social workers, speech therapists, physical and occupational therapists, special education professionals, and nurses focused on their specific areas of expertise. Elementary school teachers engaged in deeper learning of Lexia and Eureka Math.
These interactive professional development sessions empower our educators with the skills, knowledge, and strategies they need to drive student success and make a lasting impact in the classroom.
