Message from the Superintendent to the East Ramapo Community

Dear East Ramapo School Community,

I hope this letter finds you and your families well. It feels like just yesterday that I introduced myself to the community, but it's already been eight months! I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful support my team and I have received for our various projects.

At East Ramapo, we believe in the ability of our schools to provide children with a first-class education so they can reach their full potential. We believe in values that hold our families together, working and learning together in a place where all students public and non-public can grow by practicing our shared values of fairness, accountability, trust and respect.

Our vision and mission are to provide the very best for our students. The current economic and federal climate along with New York State fiscal questions creates a challenge for us in constructing a budget that is fiscally responsible for our students and the future of our programs.

As we move through the budget cycle, I would encourage all parties to remain up to date on the progress on the budget by attending Board meetings, visiting the district’s website, and following us on social media.

As the Interim Superintendent of the East Ramapo Central School District, I am confident that the best days are ahead for our wonderful faculty, students, and staff.
