Interim Superintendent's Welcome Back Letter to the Community

Interim Superintendent's Welcome Back Letter to the Community

August 25, 2025

Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year in the East Ramapo Central School District. The beginning of a new year is always a special time—a time of fresh opportunities, renewed energy, and the promise of growth and achievement for every student.

Over the summer, our facilities team has been hard at work ensuring that our schools are clean, safe, and ready to welcome students back. Their dedication has been remarkable, and thanks to their efforts, our buildings are prepared for learning and community activities. We are also pleased to share that the renovation of the Ramapo High School auditorium is nearing completion and is scheduled to be finished by late September, providing our students and community with a beautiful new space for performances, gatherings, and celebrations.

Our administrative team has been working tirelessly throughout the summer to prepare for the year ahead. Every decision and effort have been made with our students at the center, ensuring that we provide not only strong academic programs but also meaningful extracurricular opportunities that enrich the school experience. As a district, we are committed to offering productive, challenging, and rewarding experiences for all students’ experiences that inspire them to reach their fullest potential both inside and outside the classroom.

This year, we look forward to continuing the important work of celebrating our diversity, strengthening our community, and fostering a culture of collaboration and achievement. With the dedication of our staff, the support of our families, and the unique talents of our students, East Ramapo is poised for a successful and inspiring school year.

On behalf of the entire East Ramapo Central School District team, thank you for your trust, your partnership, and your support. We are excited to welcome our students back on Thursday, September 4, and we look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and accomplishment.

With warm regards,

Ana Reluzco
