A Letter from Interim Superintendent DiCarlo Regarding the Passing of the 2025-26 Budget

A Letter from Interim Superintendent DiCarlo Regarding the Passing of the 2025-26 Budget

Dear ERCSD School Community,

On behalf of the Board of Education, as well as the students and staff of the East Ramapo Central School District, please accept my sincere appreciation for your support of the 2025-2026 School Budget.

Each year, the Board of Education undertakes the important responsibility of crafting a budget that is academically and physically sound but also advances meaningful opportunities and experiences for all students. This year’s budget supports both short- and long-term financial priorities while furthering the goals of student growth, enhancing programs and services that meet the evolving needs and interests of our learners. The vision of supporting all learners is deeply embedded in every element of this spending plan, and we are deeply grateful for your trust and partnership.

I would also like to recognize and thank the candidates who sought a position on the Board of Education and demonstrated a genuine commitment to the future of our schools. Congratulations to Sabrina Charles-Pierre, Yitzchok Gruber, Ephraim Weissmandl and Hiram Rivera on their election as Trustees. We look forward to their leadership and contributions in the years ahead.

As we look ahead, I am excited about the future of our schools and have been honored in working alongside our Board of Education and the entire East Ramapo community as we pursue new levels of excellence.

Once again, thank you for your enduring support of our students, our staff, and our shared vision for the future of East Ramapo Central School District.

Sincerely,

Anthony DiCarlo
Interim Superintendent of Schools
