Curriculum Connect is a video series produced by the East Ramapo School District and hosted by Dr. Ronald Gonzalez, the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction. The goal of the series is to keep the school community informed about the district's instructional approaches.
We were made aware that over the last couple of days explicitly racist text messages have been sent to students across the country. These text messages were sent specifically to Black and Brown students in middle and high schools.
Our Multilingual Education Department proudly represented the East Ramapo Central School District at the New York State Education Department's Voices United Conference, themed “Advancing the Civil Rights of English Language Learners and Building Pathways to Multilingualism.”

At the school board meeting on Tuesday, October 8th, Superintendent Anthony DiCarlo recognized School Board Recognition Week, a time when school districts promote awareness and understanding of the important work performed by local school boards.
The rapid dismissal has been moved to Wednesday, November 27th due to a conflict with a community holiday which coincides with the original date.
