Covid Cases and Letters

  • Letter Regarding Positive COVID-19 Case RAMAPO HIGH SCHOOL

    On April 19, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual who was at Ramapo High School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified The Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

  • Letter Regarding Positive COVID-19 Case ECC

    On April 14, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that one individual who was at the Early Childhood Center (ECC) tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified The Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified The Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

    Wednesday, April 7, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual who was at Lime Kiln Elementary School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified the Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

  • Annual District Meeting Budget Vote Information

    The annual budget vote for the fiscal year 2021-22 by the qualified voters of East Ramapo Central School District will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Voting will be held in-person at voting poll locations, one in each ward.

    In Compliance with the Federal Court Order, there are no elections for Board of Education Trustees in May 2021.

    The Commissioner of Education approved holding the Budget Vote on the second Tuesday in May due to a conflict with a religious holiday.

  • Board of Education Online Regular Meeting  Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 7:30 p.m

    At that time it will consider all matters lawfully coming before the Board. It is anticipated that the Board may enter an executive session to discuss matters lawfully to be so considered. It is further anticipated that the Board will return after 11 p.m. when unofficial results of the Budget Vote are canvassed.

    Pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Orders suspending the Open Meetings Law, the Board of Education Special Meeting will be held as a virtual meeting and the meeting will also be available live on YouTube.

    District residents, email kkivi@ercsd.org by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 to have your comments read at the Board meeting.
