The Library Media Center (LMC) at Pomona Middle School is an inviting place to conduct research, do homework, or pick out a good book to take home and read. The library holds over 16,000 books for students to choose from for pleasure reading or research. Twenty-eight computers are also available for students to use to conduct research, for word processing, or to create school projects using a variety of computer applications. A number of periodical and research databases are accessible from any computer with Internet access, either from home or at school.
Students visit the LMC throughout the school year with their teachers to learn research skills from Ms. Common, the library media specialist. She is available throughout the school day and after school on most days to assist students with their research and book selections. The LMC is also open for independent student use during homeroom and most lunch periods.
