• Below is a list of some of the websites we use at Hempstead. Your child's teacher may have others they reccomend. We know that students should keep their brains active during the summer and a little reading goes a long way, and you get to take a virtual trip (a lit trip) too. Choose any of reading websites, a story a day exercises the brain and helps it grow. If you keep a reading journal that exercises your brain even more. Something simple is fine, use this format, or one you used in class, your choice.
