Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year!
My name is Kimberly DeLorenzo, I am one the Reading Teacher here at Lime Kiln Intermediate School! This is my 12th year teaching and my 4th year at Lime Kiln, prior to Lime Kiln I was teaching in the Bronx. I reside in Rockland County where I was born and raised, attended Nyack HS, and Saint Thomas Aquinas College.
I know this year has many uncertainties, but one thing I am certain of, is that we will work together to navigate remote learning, we will have FUN, and students will learn!
What's my role as a reading teacher?
As a reading teacher my role is to provide extra support for struggling readers, which might be done in small groups, or one-on-one instruction. This year I will be working with the 4th, 5th and 6th grade students. I will provide AIS (Academic Intervention Services) during a pull-out session with identified students.
