The Family Resource Center "Bringing Your School & Community Together" The Elmwood School Family Resource Center, is a school-based, school-linked, support initiative for children and families. It has evolved from the School of the 21st Century concept developed at Yale University, which is our collaborative partner. Our goal is to support all families in helping their children best develop and achieve, and to encourage family involvement and children's learning readiness. The services and programs include, but are not limited to, information and referral services, free parent workshops, support for parents, children and their enrichment, and informal drop-in times for parents and guardians.

Favorite FRC Event and why: "My favorite FRC event is our Color Run. The Color Run is a  free  physical outdoor activity for the entire family to enjoy. The entire family  can participate at this event no matter their age or experience. This family run produces a mountain of  family smiles, which in turns releases endorphins that help our families release stress and feel happy. It is my absolute pleasure to provide an event that will make my ERCSD families smile."
