I am Colette Politzer, your high school's new Library Media Specialist. I'm thrilled to be at SVHS and to share my passion for reading, literacy, and information literacy with my community. I am very excited to have joined the amazing faculty  and hope to bring stimulating programs to the library.
I am here to help you with research, choosing books, and anything else you may require assistance with.
Within the library walls, you will find a computer lab, creative student artwork, comfy seating to enjoy some great reads, and friendly folks.
The library media center is open throughout the school day. Come in before school starts, bring your own food and have lunch here, stay after school and get homework help or just read your favorite book.
Extended hours are available by contacting the library media specialist, Mrs. Politzer.  You may reach the library directly at 845-577-6550 or by mail at: cpolitzer@ercsd.org
Have collection suggestions? I want to hear from you!  Email me to get the materials YOU WANT on the shelves!
I look forward to seeing you!!
