Non-Public Transportation Application Process Update
The District has introduced a new Affidavit System for collecting non-public transportation applications. Non-public schools were given the option to participate in this system.
Schools that choose to use the Affidavit System will collect transportation applications directly from parents and submit a student roster to the District.
-
If your child’s school appears on the list below, the school has opted to use the Affidavit System. Parents should contact the school directly to complete the affidavit form.
-
If your child’s school does not appear on the list, the school has opted out of the Affidavit System. Parents are required to complete the standard transportation application or eForm, both of which are available below.

Please contact the District Transportation Office if you have any questions.
Public School students must register for transportation through the Department of Central Registration.

Mission Statement
The East Ramapo Central School District Transportation Department is dedicated to providing the safe, reliable, and courteous busing that all of our students, parents and schools are not only entitled to, but most certainly deserve.
The District Transportation Team consists of individuals who are prepared to handle any transportation issue, ensuring that all students in our East Ramapo community arrive to their school on time and ready to learn.
Our Contractor's team consists of highly trained management, dispatch, safety, and maintenance personnel as well as drivers and aides who are fully vetted and certified by the New York State Education Department, The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles and the State and Federal Departments of Transportation.
Both teams arrive to work long before most of us wake up and prepare to begin transporting our "most precious cargo," the students, in the most professional and safety-oriented manner possible. All while facing the daily, ever-changing road, traffic, and weather conditions.
