This sequence supports students who are interested in exploring engineering, design, architecture, or related STEM fields. Courses build foundational skills in design thinking, technical drawing, and engineering concepts.

This introductory technology course challenges students to think creatively while learning the principles of design, technical drawing, model building and computer-aided drafting (CAD). Students solve problems in aerospace, mechanics and packaging through hands-on design challenges and digital modeling. DDP fulfills the Art/Music graduation requirement and builds foundational skills necessary for advanced engineering and architecture courses.

This course introduces students to residential and commercial architectural design, integrating math, science and technology into architectural problem solving. Students create floor plans, elevations, renderings and 3D models using professional design software such as AutoCAD and Chief Architect. Field trips, guest speakers and model-building activities deepen students’ understanding of architecture as a profession. This course satisfies the Art/Music graduation requirement.

Computer Engineering & Repair provides students with foundational knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and troubleshooting procedures. This course is ideal for students interested in technology, computer science, engineering or careers in information technology support.
