This course is the first half of the New York State Algebra I course. Students build a strong foundation in number relationships, ratios and proportions, expressions, equations and inequalities. Emphasis is placed on understanding mathematical concepts, using multiple representations (graphs, tables and equations) and applying algebra to real-world situations. The course can be taught in a small-class setting and provide accommodations based on students’ IEPs. This course prepares students to continue the sequence in Algebra 1B.

This course is the second half of the New York State Algebra I course and continues the work begun in Algebra 1A. Emphasis is placed on analyzing multiple representations and using technology and precise mathematical language to explain thinking. This one-year course is a dual enrollment course offered in collaboration with Rockland Community College. Topics include linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions, along with an introduction to limits and foundational concepts of calculus. Emphasis is placed on connecting multiple representations of functions, graphical, numerical, analytical and verbal, to develop deep conceptual understanding and fluency. The course concludes with an introduction to calculus topics to ensure readiness for college-level study. Students will have the opportunity to earn up to 4 college credits.

Emphasis is placed on rigorous problem-solving and connecting multiple representations of functions. This course challenges students to apply advanced reasoning and analytical skills, culminating in an introduction to calculus concepts designed to ensure strong preparation for college-level mathematics or AP Calculus.

This one-year course is designed by the College Board to provide students with an introductory college-level calculus course. Students cultivate their understanding of differential and integral calculus through engaging with real-world problems represented graphically, numerically, analytically and verbally and using definitions and theorems to build arguments and justify conclusions as they explore concepts like change, limits and the analysis of functions. The course prepares students for college-level mathematics and STEM-related fields and culminates with the AP Calculus AB Examination in May.

This one-year course is a dual enrollment course offered in collaboration with Rockland Community College. Calculus RCC introduces the concepts of calculus and focuses on including limits, continuity, the derivative, differentiation of algebraic and trigonometric functions, and applications of the derivative. Other topics include Rolle's theorem, the mean-value theorem, differentials, indefinite and definite integrals, Riemann sum, definite integral, the fundamental theorem of integral calculus and applications of the integral. Students will have the opportunity to earn up to 4 college credits.

This one-year course is designed by the College Board to provide students with an introductory college-level statistics course that introduces students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing and drawing conclusions from data. Students cultivate their understanding of statistics using technology, investigations, problem solving and writing as they explore concepts like variation and distribution; patterns and uncertainty; and data-based predictions, decisions and conclusions. The course culminates with the AP Statistics Examination in May.

This one-year course is a dual enrollment course offered in collaboration with Rockland Community College. Statistics acquaints students with collection and analysis of quantitative data through measures of central tendency, measure of variation and probability and the role of statistics in today's world. Students will learn procedures of analysis of data for use in making decisions. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability distributions, sampling, confidence intervals, hypotheses testing, correlation and regression. Students will have the opportunity to earn up to 4 college credits.

This one-year course is a dual enrollment course offered in collaboration with Rockland Community College. College Algebra is an advanced course in algebra that develops the following topics: operations with rational expressions, rational exponents, roots and radicals, absolute value equations and inequalities, quadratic equations, systems of equations in three variable, functions, exponential and logarithmic functions. Students will have the opportunity to earn up to 4 college credits.

This course is designed for students who have successfully completed Algebra 1 but did not meet the proficiency standard on the NYS Algebra I Regents Examination. Instruction focuses on strengthening foundational algebra skills, deepening conceptual understanding and improving problem-solving strategies. Emphasis is placed on targeted review, test-taking strategies and guided practice to prepare students for retaking and passing the Regents exam.
