Report Cards
Elementary (K-6)
The kindergarten to grade 6 reporting system is standards-based, allowing a teacher to communicate accurately a student's progress towards meeting content standards at speciific points in the school year. From this report card parents learn how their children are doing based on NYSED standards- which highlight big ideas an concepts their children have learned and what they need to work on to ensure they are ready for the next grade level.
The performance levels 1 to 4 are used to report student performance at a point in time on a standard. They classify student performances into categories that describe knowledge, skills, and practices students in the category typically are to demonstrate.
Report cards will be issued three (3) times per year. The end of each grading period is listed on the ERCSD Calendar.
