Early Vote By Mail

  • Qualified voters may apply for an early mail ballot on your own behalf.
  • You may not submit your application more than 30 days prior to the election. April 22, 2024 is the first day to submit applications for the May 21, 2024 Budget Vote.
  • You must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age, and a resident of the school district for a period of at least 30 days preceding the meeting or election at which you seek to vote. No person shall have the right to register for or vote at any school meeting or election who wouldn not be qualified to register for or vote at an election in accordance with the provisions of Election Law §5-106
  • A voter who applies for and is issued an early mail ballot will not be eligible for an absentee ballot for the same election.
  • Do not use this application if you are a qualified military voter. Click here to see information for military voters.
  • An  Early Vote by Mail Ballot Application is required if a voter does not want to vote in person and does not meet the requirements for an Absentee Ballot. Completed applications must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or the day before the election, if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter or the voter’s designated agent.
  • All  Early Vote by Mail Ballots must be mailed back to the District or hand delivered to the District Clerk
  • To be counted Early Vote by Mail ballots must be received by District Clerk’s Office by 5 p.m. on the Budget Vote day. They cannot be dropped off at a poll location.
