• Sight Words

These 100 words are sometimes called "sight words" and sometimes called "high-frequency words."  As the year progresses, your child will be expected to know more and more of these words as a reader and a writer.  Please help your child achieve this goal by practicing the reading and writing of these words.  I use five words a week to review as the year moves along.  You might want to cross reference which words your child has received for homework and ensure that these words are the words you choose to practice at home.
