  • Kindness Inspires Kindness, and Spreads Like a Virus

    Inspired by the leadership they received from their Ramapo High School guidance counselor years ago, four Ramapo High School graduates recently established Opportunity Now, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to giving impoverished individuals a fighting chance at life.

  • Letter Regarding Positive COVID-19 Case

    On Thursday, November 19, 2020 the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual at Eldorado Elementary School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified The Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

  • Letter Regarding Positive COVID-19 Case

    Thursday morning, November 19th, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual at Elmwood Elementary School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following our state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of potentially exposed individuals and initiated deep cleaning processes. Note that the District is working in collaboration with The Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

  • Family University Courses

    We invite the families of East Ramapo Central School District to participate in Family University! From Nov. 18-22, tune in for live educational workshops to prepare for the new school year. In the Family University, East Ramapo Families will learn how to navigate the platforms used by the district to facilitate learning both in hybrid and remote. Gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support your child with virtual learning.

  • Letter Regarding Positive COVID-19 Case

    On the evening of Wednesday, November 11, 2020, the East Ramapo Central School District received notification that an individual at Margetts Elementary School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The investigation has begun and will continue Thursday, November 12, 2020. For this reason, all Margetts Elementary School students and staff will engage in remote (at-home) learning on Thursday November 12, 2020.
