The East Ramapo Central School District Board of Education today announced the appointment of Clarence G. Ellis, Ed. D. as the next Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2021. The unanimous appointment was made during the Board’s regular April 13 meeting.

On April 14, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that one individual who was at the Early Childhood Center (ECC) tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified The Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.
Thursday, April 8, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual who was at Ramapo High School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified the Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.
On April 7, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual who was at Eldorado Elementary School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person.
