• Absentee Ballots

The Annual Meeting - School Budget Vote and Board Member Election will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

If you will not be in Rockland County during the hours the polls are open, you may vote by absentee ballot.

The first step is to complete and submit an application for an absentee ballot. You may download the application by clicking here: absentee ballot application , or you may call 577-6015 and request that an application be mailed to you.

Applications may be mailed or hand-delivered to the District Clerk's office at 105 South Madison Avenue, Spring Valley, NY 10977.

The application must be received by the District Clerk at least seven days before the election, Tuesday, May 12, 2020, if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, OR, the day before the election, Monday, May 19, 2020, if the ballot is to be issued to the voter in person.  Absentee ballots will not be mailed after Tuesday, May 12, 2020, and must be picked up in person after that date.

Applications that do not specify the reasons why a voter will be unable to vote in person on the day of the election cannot be accepted.

No absentee voter's ballot will be counted unless it is received in the office of the Distict Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on the day of the vote, May 19, 2020.  A return envelope is provided with the ballot.  Absentee ballots delivered directly to polling places will not be counted.
