The New York State Education Department (NYSED) has developed a Parent Dashboard to increase transparency and make information about school performance and other school-level data easier for parents and the public to access. The Parent Dashboard is part of New York’s Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan, which emphasizes equity in education for all students and expands measures of school accountability and student success. We appreciate your partnership and will keep you up-to-date as information becomes available. Sincerely, Dr. Ray Giamartino Interim Superintendent of Schools
The East Ramapo family is mourning the tragic loss of one of our own. Ramapo High School Physical Education Teacher Kevin Feeney made an enormous impact on our students, staff and our entire community. He was a great and respected coach and mentor, always supporting his student-athletes with energy, kindness and strength. Please join us in sending prayers and condolences to the Feeney family during this most difficult time.
The East Ramapo Central School District Transportation Department is currently evaluating route information for all public and non-public students in accordance with state requirements and health and safety guidelines. Our busing contractors are currently experiencing a staffing shortage that will result in service related issues. We anticipate routes to be affected and encourage families to stay-up-to date by reviewing announcements posted on our website ercsd.org/transportation.
