    Going From Good to Great!
     
    Dear Fleetwood Families,

    On behalf of our entire staff, we would like to welcome your new kindergarten students and our returning first, second and third grade students!  Let me begin by introducing myself! My name is Carolyn Partridge and I am the Fleetwood Elementary School Principal! I am thrilled to welcome you to the new school year and I am looking forward to meeting new faces, welcoming familiar ones, as well as hearing all about your summer fun. For those of you who have not met me, I have worked for the East Ramapo Central School District since 2015 and previously worked for the NYC Department of Education for 12 years. I have taught, coached and directed every primary grade! I am very proud to say that at Fleetwood, we truly believe in a developmentally appropriate approach to learning. We will do all that we can to provide your child with an experience of school that develops a love fo learning while implementig a challenging and engaging curriculum.

    Much planning and hard work has gone into preparing for a successful year. All teachers and support staff have spent hours preparing materials, creating child-centered classrooms, and reviewing data. The rooms are beginning to look amazing! Secretaries and office staff have registered new students and organized materials. Many thanks must be paid to the custodial staff. They have spent weeks keeping our building clean and preparing for the opening of the school year!
     
    I would also like to extend a special welcome to our incoming students who are new to our school. As you settle in, you will be receiving newsletters from the school office and the classroom teachers. 
     
    Please know that we have an open door policy, and welcome any opportunity to meet with you. We are looking forward to our collaboration in providing a Healthy, Safe, Supportive, Engaging, and Challenging, Learning Environment!
