Have your child work in a well lighted area.

Have your child work in a quiet area.

Review their work with them and ask them questions.

Discuss with them what they are learning in class.

Have them review their notes nightly. Especially the areas in which they are having some difficulty.

Have your child read 30 minutes a night.
