• ERCSD Chain of Communication

    East Ramapo Central School District’s primary motivator is the well-being of our young people by providing a healthy, safe, supportive, engaging, and challenging learning environment. 

    Chain of Communication refers to communication levels that guide our community to the best person to speak with regarding questions that arise in a school system. At the first level sits the department or staff closest to the issue. For example, if it is a classroom issue, ask the classroom teacher; if it is a transportation issue call transportation; if you are unsure, start at the building principal's office. If it is found that the issue requires additional attention, it will be pushed to the next level. If the matter is unresolved after engaging with staff at the final level, you are welcome to contact the Superintendent of Schools. Please note, that if any level has been overlooked, you will likely be redirected to the appropriate department or staff to resolve the question or concern quickly and effectively.
