The American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief Fund (ARP-ESSER) is providing over $90,000,000 to East Ramapo Central School District. About eighty percent of this funding is being recommended to fund capital projects which will improve instructional and non-instructional spaces, such as lighting and ceiling replacement, electrical systems, windows doors and ventilation. This is the estimated 3-year timeline for completing these facilities upgrades.

The Spring Valley High School capital improvement project is well underway and remediation is on schedule to be completed by December 23, 2021 with the anticipated return to in-person instruction for students on January 3, 2022. READ MORE.
