Above the Influence is a student-led innovative substance abuse prevention program CRMS has adopted. It encourages teens to be above negative influences (including substance use), develop positive life aspirations and achieve personal goals. 8th graders committed to rising above the influence and created a short video to share why they are "Rising Above the Influence" with their peers.

There is No School for East Ramapo Central School District students or staff on Monday September 25 in observance of Yom Kippur. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 26.
We asked some students and teachers how they liked the new furniture, and how this new equipment changes the ambiance in the classroom. Grateful students expressed their appreciation for the comfortable seating, such as the wobble stools, and squishy bean bags.
September 15th marks the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs through October 15th. Over the next several weeks, classrooms across the East Ramapo Central School district will be exploring the rich cultures of Hispanic and Latino peoples through literature, geography, art & music.
