I've been a teacher of social studies since 1985. I began my teaching career as an 8th grade social studies teacher with the Archdiocese of New York in the Bronx. I joined the New York City Board of Education in 1990 where I worked as a middle/intermediate school  social studies teacher until 2001. From 2001 -2002 I worked as a middle school social studies teacher in the Enlarged Citity School District , Middletown NY.  I've been employed in East Ramapo since 2002, first at Pomona Middle School, then at CRMS. I transferred to Ramapo High School in 2016. I'm well known as a US history teacher, however I've also taught Participation in Government, Sociology, Psychology, Global history and economics. My teaching credentials are based on course work from the City College of New York, Pace University and the College of New Rochelle.
