ELL Language Proficiency Levels
- Entering (beginning) students receive 2 Units of study per week = 360 minutes
- Emerging (low Intermediate) students receive 2 Units of study per week = 360 minutes
- Transitioning (intermediate) students receive 1 Unit of study per week= 180 minutes
- Expanding (advanced) students receive 1 Unit of study per week= 180 minutes
- Commanding (proficiency) students continue to receive services from the ENL teacher for an additional two years
