• How to setup your chromebook with wifi

    Step 1: Turn on Wi-Fi

    1. At the bottom right, select the time.
    2. Select Not Connected .
      Note: If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.
    3. Turn on Wi-Fi
    4. Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list.

    Step 2: Pick a network and connect

    1. Select the secure Wi-Fi network .
    2. Type the network password.
    3. Select Connect.

    RAISE NYC  Undocu Workers Fund will support undocumented workers in the service industry who will not have the privilege to apply for unemployment benefits during the COVID-19 health crisis.     The Coronavirus Care Fund was established by the National Domestic Workers Alliance to provide emergency assistance for home care workers, nannies and house cleaners to support them in staying safe and staying home to slow the spread of the coronavirus and to care for themselves and their families.

    National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) have created a National Domestic Workers Alliance Emergency Fund. At this time, the Coronavirus Care Fund application is open to domestic workers who have participated in NDWA activities, NDWA chapters, affiliate organizations, circles and current Alia users.

    Restaurant Worker Community Fund has funds available for restaurant workers in need of financial assistance.  You can apply for financial assistance on their website.

    NAMI Rockland HelpLine is a free service that provides information, referrals and support to people living with a mental health condition, family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public.  Our HelpLine is available Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm 

    Fidelis Care is focused on the health and safety of our employees and the community during the COVID-19 outbreak. Although our community offices are temporarily closed, the Fidelis Care team is ready to serve individuals by phone at 1-866-435-9521 (TTY: 711). We can answer individuals’ questions and help them enroll or renew their coverage by phone.

    Audible is offering free audiobooks for kids. The company's pledge is "kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids."

    Nickelodeon has launched a new website featuring free content and educational material.

    Noggin is a streaming service for preschool-aged kids that is now offering a three-month free subscription.

    TIME for Kids is allowing its digital library to be accessed for free.
