  • Budget Vote Ballot Drop-Off Hours

    Completed ballots for the 2020-2021 Budget Vote and Finkelstein Library Trustee Election must be received by the District by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9th. You may either place your completed ballot in the mail (to be received no later than 5:00 pm on June 9, 2020) or drop it off at the District’s Administration Building.     Due to COVID-19 protection efforts, K-12 Final Report Cards will be distributed through our eSchool Student Portal. The linked information serves as a guide to access the Portal.

  • Food Bank Information & Locations

    “Grab and Go” breakfast and lunch will be provided for free, every day school is closed, for the District’s students in low-income families, and for every child who comes to the Food Banks. Saturday and Sunday meals will be available to be picked up at the Food Banks each Friday.

  • Flexible Home Learning

    The East Ramapo Central School District is participating in flexible home learning days, through a series of activities. Our goal is to continue engaging students with content while challenging them through independent practice. Flexible learning activities will reinforce concepts that students have learned, as well as extend learning. A link to each school’s personalized webpage dedicated to flexible home learning activities is forthcoming.

    The East Ramapo Central School District continues to closely monitor the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The health, safety and well-being of our school community is our top priority. All ERCSD decisions are being made with the best-available guidance from the Rockland County Department of Health and the New York State Education Department.     Annual District Meeting Budget Vote and Election Information

    The annual budget vote for the fiscal year 2020-21 by the qualified voters of East Ramapo Central School District will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2020 per the Governor’s Executive Order No. 202.26. Qualified voters must return an absentee ballot via a postage paid return envelope to the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on June 9, 2020.

  • Board of Education Virtual Regular Meeting  Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 9:00 p.m.

    Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency and State and Federal bans on large meetings or gatherings and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order issued on March 12, 2020 suspending the Open Meetings Law, the Board of Education Regular Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 9:00 p.m. will be held electronically via online web conferencing technology instead of a public meeting open for the public to attend in person. At that time it will consider all matters lawfully coming before the Board. It is anticipated that the Board may enter an executive session to discuss matters lawfully to be so considered. 

    Minutes of the Board of Education Regular Meeting will be transcribed and posted on the website.

    Executive Order

    Suspension of law allowing the attendance of meetings telephonically or other similar service:

    Article 7 of the Public Officers Law, to the extent necessary to permit any public body to meet and take such actions authorized by the law without permitting in public in-person access to meetings and authorizing such meetings to be held remotely by conference call or similar service, provided that the public has the ability to view or listen to such proceeding and that such meetings are recorded and later transcribed;”

  • Revised Instructional Calendar

    On May 19, 2020 the Board of Educaion adopted a revised 2019-20 Instructional Calendar in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In compliance with the Governor's executive orders, the New York State Department of Education requirements, and contractual agreements the last day of school for teachers and students will be June 23, 2020.
