The East Ramapo Central School District continues to closely monitor the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The health, safety and well-being of our school community is our top priority. All ERCSD decisions are being made with the best-available guidance from the Rockland County Department of Health and the New York State Education Department. Please check here often as the situation evolves. Further updates may be forthcoming.
The East Ramapo Central School District is participating in flexible home learning days, through a series of activities. Our goal is to continue engaging students with content while challenging them through independent practice. Flexible learning activities will reinforce concepts that students have learned, as well as extend learning. A link to each school’s personalized webpage dedicated to flexible home learning activities is forthcoming.
“Grab and Go” breakfast and lunch will be provided for free, every day school is closed, for the District’s students in low-income families, and for every child who comes to the Food Banks. Saturday and Sunday meals will be available to be picked up at the Food Banks each Friday.
During this time of great need in Rockland County, Child Care Resources of Rockland, Rockland BOCES, and our eight school districts are committed to helping emergency care workers continue to do their job. The Districts is proud to open our doors to provide childcare for children ages 5-12 for healthcare workers and first responders with no other childcare options. If you are eligible, please complete the form linked within this letter.
