  • Congressman Mondaire Jones Announces Task Force to Advise ERCSD on $162 M Distribution

    On Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 Congressman Mondaire Jones visited his alma mater, Spring Valley High School, to announce the creation of a task force to help advise East Ramapo Central School District on the distribution of $162 million in American Rescue Plan funding allocated to public schools in the school district.

  • Spring 2021 New York State Assessment Information

    The U.S. Department of Education chose not to approve New York’s waiver request to forego state assessments this year. USDE had previously agreed to uncouple state assessments from ESSA accountability requirements, including the 95% participation rate for the assessments, so any results from this year’s administrations will be used solely as a measure of student learning.

  • Letter Regarding Positive COVID-19 Case RAMAPO HIGH SCHOOL

    Thursday, April 8, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual who was at Ramapo High School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified the Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

  • Letter Regarding Positive COVID-19 Case Eldorado

    On April 7, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual who was at Eldorado Elementary School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified The Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

    Wednesday, April 7, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual who was at Lime Kiln Elementary School tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified the Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

    Friday, March 26, 2021, the East Ramapo Central School District received information that an individual who was at Kakiat STEAM Academy tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Following state-approved protocols, the District immediately notified the small group of individuals who had interacted with this person. The District also notified the Rockland County Department of Health and has started the contact tracing process.

  • Board of Education Online Regular Meeting  Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 7:30 p.m

    At that time it will consider all matters lawfully coming before the Board. It is anticipated that the Board may enter an executive session to discuss matters lawfully to be so considered.

    Pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Orders suspending the Open Meetings Law, the Board of Education Special Meeting will be held as a virtual meeting and the meeting will also be available live on YouTube.
